What is Airport Meet and Greet / Meet and Assist?

Meet and Greet or Meet and Assist at airports refer to services where your airport journey is made more comfortable and smoother through different airport concierge services. These include, fast-track through airport formalities, porter service, buggy transfer within the airport, lounge access, and more. At airssist you can check the different amenities included in a Meet and Greet package, compare two or more packages and select the one best suited to your requirements. What are the prices of the airport concierge services?

The price varies from airport to airport and services required. Also, the service provider will decide the price, Terms and Condition of the booked services.

There is an overnight surcharge applicable for airports in Europe, Asia, USA, and Australia.

When can I make a booking?

We recommend booking at least 72 hours before your flight, to get all the required formalities completed. However, some services can be booked 3 hours before your flight.

After I make a booking, is there any additional information you need from me?

Before your airport concierge service is due we will need the following information: 
– Your flight Number 
– Your receiving party / driver’s contact details 
– Passport copies, if you have selected any VIP terminal service 
– Passport copies for Meet and Assist / Meet and Greet services at Jeddah Airport and any USA Airports

How to manage your booking?

You can amend or cancel your bookings by logging in to your airssist account. Your upcoming, completed, and canceled bookings are stored in your account too.

Once you have booked a service, we will send you a confirmation email containing your booking details. This email is your booking confirmation.

Is there a late booking surcharge?

Yes, there is a late booking surcharge. A 50% late booking fee will be applied to all service requests received less than 24 hours.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

The service provider personnel will constantly monitor your flight and will be there when you arrive no matter what.

Where will I find my greeter?

For your arrival and transit flights, your greeter will meet you at the start of arrivals gate or at the end of the air bridge (Depending on the aircraft parking position). For your departure flight, the greeter will welcome you at the Curbside of the Airport.

Will the host / greet assist with baggage?

Any airports worldwide instruct passengers to carry their hand baggage with them. The Meet and Greet host/ greeter are not insured to carry baggage. But you can book a porter service as an add-on to your meet and greet package.

Should I tip my greeter?

It is not required.

Will I always be fast-tracked?

Fast-track is mostly part of the Meet and Assist / Meet and Greet package but there are certain exceptions when it has to be selected as an add-on.  
Our providers will always try their very best to expedite the passenger and assist through the fastest lane available during the service.

What if I need a wheelchair?

Kindly note that due to airport and airline regulation, the passenger is required to book the wheelchair assistance with the airline. If you’re booking these services, kindly notify us by selecting wheelchair assistance as an add-on when booking your Meet and Greet service at airssist.

How do I know you are a legitimate site?

What information do I need to sign up on airssist as a service provider?

To sign up, we need certain contact information and some service information. When you sign up at airssist, you’ll need to provide the following information:

  • Payments and billing: Business ID/tax registration number, billing and payment preferences, etc.
  • Service details: General service information, and your preferred pricing model.
  • Policies: Amendments, Refund & Cancellation policy, other fees, and applicable taxes.

When you list your services on airssist, travelers will be able to find and book it directly through the site. We will offer you expert support to optimize your service listing strategy and meet your business needs.

You can accept/reject bookings made on our site by the user for your services, by logging in and selecting the booking list in the drop-down menu.
