Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK / WIII) is the main entry into Indonesia and one of the most heavily trafficed airports in Southeast Asia. It is situated about 20 kilometers away from the city of Jakarta. A major airline hub for Garuda Indonesia as well as Lion Air, the airport features broad amenities that are distributed among its three terminals.
Terminals :
Terminal 1Terminal 1 located on the southern part of the airfield was launched back in 1985 and comprised three sub-terminals: A, B, C. Each of them contained 25 check-in points, 5 carousels for baggage and 7 gates helping to deal with nine million visitors yearly including such airlines as Airfast Indonesia for domestic flights at affordable prices, Super Air Jet and Namair - international service representatives operating within this country. Terminal 2 Terminal 2 was constructed in 1991, and it is sited in the north-western part of the airport with 3 sub terminals (D, E, F). All the sub terminals (D, E, F) have 25 check-in counters and 7 gates. At this terminal, you will mostly find domestic flights catering to Lion Air, Batik Air and Indonesia AirAsia and also from international low-cost carriers namely Air Asia, Batik Air Malaysia, Cebu Pacific, IndiGo, VietJet Air, Jetstar Asia, Scoot, Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air.Terminal 3Terminal 3 was opened in 2016 by merging Terminal 3 with an original one while accommodating 25 million passengers annually on the eastern extreme. Acts as Garuda Indonesia and Citilink Indonesia’s center point for both national flights like Citilink, Garuda Indonesia, Pelita Air, TransNusa, and international ones like Air China, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines.
